  Fawlty Towers

  my cheeks are hurting.

  i laughed so hard that i missed some of the precious fast moving dialogue!

  my pbs station has begun to rerun old "fawlty towers" programming!!

  Penelope Keith played the snooty neighbor to Tom and Barbara on "Good Neighbors" as it is known in the USA. My friends loved the Posh Frock episode because those two words sound so alien to American ears.

  When one of the employees at my hotel screws up I will say, "Don't mind him he's from Barcelona." I find myself calling rats Siberian Hamsters and will never hire a contractor named O'Reilly.

  After 13 years in the Hotel business I am sad to say I have a had a few melt downs that would be worthy of Basil.

  I am White and Cherokee. The only race I have not dated is Asian. Lack of opportunity not choice. One of my sisters is married to a Black man and their children will have the blood of three races. I have found that mixed race people are the most attractive people I have ever seen. Race would never be factor for my choosing a wife. Just personality. Rich would be nice.

  What are your favourite vegeatables?

  nutritionists tell us that vegetables contain a wide variety of substances that are beneficial to our health, and these are not vitamins and minerals, they are called phytochemicals.

  given the fact that in the western world people consume a great deal of industrially processed food eating a lot of fresh veg (and fruit) can only be beneficial.

  do you consume a lot of these?

  Men In The Girlie Department.

  how do other guys feel about going into women's clothes shops?.

  i spent ages with her ladyship in the per una section of marks & spencers today.

  i was quite happy to bumble about behind her and even managed to achieve some nonchalance while i was waiting for her to try stuff on in the changing rooms.

  I have always enjoyed shopping for womens clothes with a girlfriend. Whether I buy her shoes, jeans or bras and panties, I get laid.

  People ask if I became qualified to be a Hotel Manager by taking college courses in Hospitality.

  I always say, "No I did not take any Hospitality courses but I have seen every episode of Fawlty Towers!"

  hi, i'm lynne.. i was wondering about religion for months and found this website.. i was hoping to get some feedbacks... almost everyone in my mom's family is a witness, and i was born and raised as a witness.

  and yet, i never really wanted to get baptized, maybe because my father left the truth(?

  although i don't like the expression, the truth, i don't know what else to say.. heh..).

  I thought the Watchtower was the truth for 15 years. I was wrong. I recommend you read the book, "Crisis of Conscience" by ex-Governing Body member Ray Franz. That book will answer all questions about wether the Watchtower is thr truth or not.

  CROSSING OVER with John Edward?

  watched last night and in the past.

  still feel kind of "should not be watching" as the dead are dead.. being sought of going to church and its now that we don't die but go to god.. just wondering if john edward would be the same as the medium that saul went to and god was very displeased?

  Everyone who claims to speak with the dead are con artists. South Park called Johnathon Edward the biggest douche bag in the universe. I agree. As Penn and Teller say about spirit mediums, bullshit.

  Witness Kids SUCK

  i just got home from a dub "party".

  it was very tame, seemed to be choreographed, and i was just shocked.. for one thing, everyone there was my age or older.

  these people are young adults.. yet, it felt like the jr. high dance.

  I was an extremely theocratic teenage brother and really enjoyed what other kids thought of as boring Witness parties in Southern California in the 70's.

  The only way the other kids could go anywhere or have a party was if I was invited to be a good influence on the others.

  It was not until several years later that I learned as soon as I left they all started drinking and making out. At the next Sunday meeting they would comment at the Watchtower Study with double meanings refering to their sexual escapades.

  What the Founders of the United States created was a limited government with enumerated powers providing a framework of peace and security in which individuals could achieve their full potential.

  Anarchy opens the way for tyrants and thugs to trample individual rights. Getting rid of government is a step back to the time before civilization began and not progress at all.

  According to the Declaration of Independence governments are formed to protect individual rights. Any group of humans will have to have a set of rules spelling out how to peacefully cooperate. Good government is essential to human progress. Bad government is the source of misery. One world government would not be able to protect the rights of the individual.
